A Friend In You

You opened my eyes,

And found in me,

A part I thought could never ever be and now.

You are a special part of my life.

I'm so thankful for the things I find,

I can truly say you've really helped me out this time.

You take the stress away,

And you let it all go now I truly know.

You are something else.

You're something special to me.

I'm so glad to get it out.

I know it took a while,

But I made it through.

It's clear to see heaven

Is missing an angel.

I'm so glad I have a friend in you.

I like you for the silly things that you do.

I like you because you stay true.

If it wasn't for your sassy wayz,

I wouldn't look of an angel hayz,

Because looking at you keeps me dazed,

And I wanna exploit your body strays.

For I like you, will you like me?

Someday it will be meant to be.

When that day comes,

Let us go to the sea.

My every temptation are you,

Because I like you so much.

I don't know what to do.

I see you almost everyday,

But I guess it's hard

For you to look my way.

But as you say in one big blurt,

As I try to flirt,

I don't want your feelings to get hurt.

So, I sigh away as my feelings stray.

Hoping that special person in mind

Will come my way.

And if not well it's their loss,

And they'll pay the cost.

Just like a game of ring toss

So for the moment I like you,

But I stray,

Because you'll never stray my way.

So, I guess I'll find somebody new

That can put a thrill in my life,

But I wish it could be you.

When a friend dies...

When a friend dies,

no one can prepare you for the pain.

When a friend dies,

it is not a matter of how it happened,

but why it happened.

When a friend dies,

you think not of the things you could've shared,

but the times you did share.

When a friend dies,

you think not of what they could've done,

but of the accomplishments they made.

When a friend dies,

you do not quickly forget about them,

but you remember the things they told you,

And how they impacted your life.

I'm so stuck,

My head is down,

What do I do?

I call on you to get me through those rough and tough times.

And when I'm stuck,

And can't decide,

Right then and there you come to mind,

You keep me going, you keep me on track.

Boy troubles and bad relationships,

I know you'll listen when I need to flip,

Being nice, giving advice cause you

Know I'd do the same thing.

In the middle of the day or even late at night,

I know that I can call on you,

Cause I know we that tight,

I'll be a friend to you, if your one to me,

I'll be in a hurry when you need,

(Passionate, thoughtful, and caring).

When I'm feeling low and I'm feeling insecure,

You'll be there for me in the end this I know.

And when you see a fork in the road,

Don't hesitate cause you know where to go.

That's where I come in, cause I'm your friend.
